About the Author
Father Romano Zago, OFM, was born in Lajeado (RS) Brazil on August 11, 1932. He was ordained a Franciscan Friar in 1958 after having studied philosophy and theology. In 1971, he received a degree in literature and foreign languages (Latin, Portuguese, French and Spanish) from PUCRS faculty of Literature Universita Pontifica Cattolica. In 1988, while presiding at the San Antonio parish in Pouso Novo (RS) Brazil, he learned from local natives about a potent all-natural Aloe arborescens recipe they used for curing cancer. He began to test it with the chronically ill, and it was here he first observed positive results obtained with nutrition against advanced disease. Later, he was sent to Jerusalem and Italy, where he continued to promote this recipe, made with the whole leaf of the Aloe arborescens plant, to the chronically ill. The success of the preparation inspired him to devote his life to research and education on Aloe and the recipe that has been published in his two books. He has given lectures and conferences in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, France, Italy and Brazil about the ability of the human body to heal and regulate itself when supplied with the cell-required concentrated micronutrients found in the polysaccharides (complex sugar molecules) of this Aloe species and the other two ingredients of the Aloe preparation.

Father Zago's Gift to Us

Father Zago has given the world an incredible gift by publishing this book. The magic of aloe dates back to pre-Egyptian times and has been used in many cultures for centuries. He gives the recipe here, it's easy to make yourself at home with 3 simple ingredients.
Yes, aloe tastes bitter but adding pure bee honey to it makes it easier to swallow.
Aloe helps with many illnesses, and is not just for topical use. A good portion of the book alphabetically lists the many health challenges aloe can improve or even totally cure. I have long been a fan of "doctor yourself" books & this one's wonderful. The writing style is easy to read, despite being translated to English, which sometimes results in peculiar wording or sentence structure.

Some more information on the healing powers of aloe arborescens ...

Father Zago's new book is an obvious and welcome companion to his first, as he expands here on a few more concepts. Written in the same easy-to-understand manner as his first "Cancer Can Be Cured" book, this volume overall seems to be just as anecdotal in scope. Father Zago responds here to the many questions he had received following the publication of his first book. The main suggestion is that people who follow his aloe-syrup recipe may, if they wish, tweak a bit the formula, so as to better adapt it to their own subjective taste and needs. In other words, one need not be too proscriptive about following the exact syrup instructions in every single detail.
Pp. 63-129 detail several ailments that Father Zago says can be cured by the aloe arborescens treatment (from asthma to candidiasis, to halitosis, to insomnia, to tonsillitis, just to mention a few that he lists).
Those readers who wish to be presented with more science than just anecdotal evidence will be rewarded by the index on pp. 133-162 where -- listed in alphabetical order by author -- the book provides a list of over 150 bibliographical scientific entries detailing international studies conducted on the scientific and botanical properties of aloe.
Father Zago's own language and written style remain, as per his first book, humble and unpretentious. This is a very readable volume, which must be read together with his first book. Otherwise, this volume alone does not make a whole lot of sense, for it assumes the reader is already familiar with "Cancer Can Be Cured".

Much better than the first book . . . . .

I've read Fr. Zago's other book "Cancer Can Be Cured" and this book is so very much better. It explains in depth on how to gather the ingredients, how to prepare the juice and how to take it. I had quite a few question after reading the first book but since reading this one, everything is very clear and I don't have any more questions.
It goes into detail on different ailments and provides a lot of excellent information and the bibliography is well done. If you are serious about cleansing your body of toxins in a natural way, this book is the one for you. I am not prone to scams, quick ways to get healthy, etc. and usually am skeptical but this books makes sense (at least to me it does) and I will be preparing a batch for myself in a few days. I have no qualms about taking this natural product. So simple to get the ingredients, making the juice and taking it and it is very inexpensive to make.
